Just outside one of my favorite villages in Donegal is Glengesh Pass, a narrow road that winds its way up a beautiful valley. Driving up switch-backs, passing sheep and waterfalls, it’s hard to pay attention to where you’re going when the scenery is so beautiful! Once you get to the top, you are greeted by views of the lush green valley and distant hills and landscape beyond.. It might not be the most direct route, but it’s definitely the scenic way to go!
