There is so much that draws me to the Bluebell Woods, but what does the most is the light. In Ireland we so appreciate every sunny day, so when you get to experience the sun in these woods, it’s truly magical! It filters through the tall beech trees and casts long shadows across the ancient woodland floor. The blanket of bluebells illuminate in the light and the woods feel as though they have come alive. This ancient woodland has brought me so much inspiration and I hoped to capture the tranquility, whimsey and wonder these woods make me feel in my paintings.
