The light, oh the light in the Bluebell Woods. In Ireland we so appreciate every sunny day, so when you get to experience the sun in these woods, it’s truly magical! It filters through the tall beech trees and casts long shadows across the ancient woodland floor. The light illuminates the leaves making their already bright green color glow and purple bluebells light up. I love the shadow new leaves cast onto tree trunks and if you stop to watch their movement it feels like they’re dancing. This painting is an ode to the light and shadows created in the woods. Everything I love about the Bluebell Woods captured in one painting!
