Nursery Artwork

Our baby boy is due in just 9 weeks and we are so excited to welcome him into the world! I’ve been feeling inspired to create some nursery themed artwork that I would love to have in his room. As with most of my work I’m inspired by nature and Ireland so I’ve settled on a woodland theme featuring baby animals native to Ireland - a fox, red squirrel, hare and deer. The above image is a sneak peek at one of the paintings in progress.

It’s also made me reflect on other artwork and prints I’ve created that would be sweet in a nursery or children’s room. Depending on your theme, there are so many different directions you can go. So I’ve rounded up some that I think would work together and add some cheer to any child’s first room.

The entire Tales of Wonder Collection belongs in a nursery or children’s room. It’s so playful and fun! Heirloom pieces that will be cherished!

I love the Cape Town print in this nursery! It definitely adds that sense of wanderlust! Any of the travel prints or maps work in a nursery and can remind you of a favorite memory!

A safari theme is such a cute idea for a nursery! Go with the Safari Animals print or individual prints of your favorite animals! Check out all of the Safari Series prints HERE!

The Lemon and Clementine prints are such sweet colors and perfect for a gender neutral nursery or botanical themed nursery. Together or on their own, they’re perfectly sweet.
